Frequently asked
What does Bhagavad Gita Chapter 10 Verse 7 mean?
It means that seeing Krishna's reach and power as they truly are is itself the union. Not a step toward union — the thing. Krishna promises the joining will not shake, and he closes with a flat refusal of doubt. Knowledge here is not information about him; it is being held by what you have seen.
Etam vibhutim yogam cha mama yo vetti tattvatah - what is the meaning of this line?
Vibhūti is Krishna's spread through everything that exists; yoga is his power to join it all to himself. Tattvataḥ is the weight-bearing word: as it really is. Many admire the idea of a divine source. This verse speaks of the one who has actually looked, and found the looking changed him.
Why does Krishna say there is no doubt about this?
Because Arjuna's whole trouble is doubt — every teaching so far has met a but. Here Krishna leaves no crack: nātra sanśayaḥ, no doubt in this matter. He is not arguing you into certainty. He is telling you what follows automatically once seeing has happened, the way sight follows an opened eye.
How do I know Krishna truly and not just intellectually?
Stop trying to add a belief and start tracing what is already true. Your breath, your strength, your very ability to ask — none of it was authored by you. Follow that back honestly, without softening it. The verse does not ask for a feeling. It asks for accuracy, and it says accuracy holds.

Commentary
Knowing is not believing here. Krishna has just named himself the source of the sages, the seed of everything that moves; now he says whoever knows this tattvataḥ — as it actually is, not as a pleasant idea — stands joined to him, and joined without wobble. Notice the order. Devotion is not the effort that earns the vision; it is what happens by itself once the seeing is real. Arjuna, hearing this, will soon ask to be shown. Krishna adds no conditions, no maybe. Look once at where your life actually comes from, and the holding-on stops being work.
